**UPDATE: I've taken my pictures down because I got paranoid about someone I know recognizing me. It would be super embarrassing. Hope you got to look at them before I took them down. If not, and you are curious about how I look, email me and I'll send them to you. **
I have very few pics of my body... I'm sure you can see why. And the fact that these survived means that they're pretty misleading about how I look. All the pics that showcase how chubby I really am, get deleted. Truth.
I was like "That looks like me! ...Oh wait. Duh." lol!
ReplyDeletehi chubby pear!
ReplyDeletei came to your blog via "pretty in pear." i enjoyed reading through your posts, but would have to say that your pics here are actually wonderful. you have a well proportioned body, great bust line, small waist and a strong hip. you wear the jeans and sweater well. what more can a girl want!? i do know that photos can be deceiving, but there isn't anything more empowering than a woman who owns the body that lives in.
when i calculated your WHR, you have a super low ratio of 0.67! this is super, super amazing! this is what they had to say...and i know you've read it already!
"Waist to Hip Ratio:
Results:
You have a waist to hip ratio of 0.67. The information you entered: Sex = Female, waist = 28 inches and hip = 42 inches.
Your shape puts you at reduced risk of coronary heart disease, diabetes and stroke. Frequently referred to as pear shape, you tend to keep fat off your midsection and more on your hips. Your body does not convert this lower body fat as readily as midsection fat, which keeps cholesterol down."
these are all FANTASTIC things!!
so who am i? im an artist who's doing extensive work on the pevlis and in particular waist/ hip ratios. i think the pelvis is the most fascinating bone in the human body. my series focuses on a ratio of 0.70 or less, but most all (models) have been around 0.68, and they LOVE the body they're in. they are pretty much the exact same ratio as you. what's cool about ratios is that it is not measurement based or weight based, but the ratio between the waist and the hip as a quick snapshot of one's health and reproductive promise.
if you go to my site and look at the models section, what you will see are models (nude- dont go if nudity bothers you) who all look VERY different from each other...they have very different pelvic expressions...but they ALL have the same ratio of 0.68!

im looking forward to reading more of your posts and i hope that you achieve your goals...but please bear in mind that for many, you have at least one very desirable asset--- a small waist! that you cannot buy with all the money in the world!
happy holidays to you!

Martin,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the comment! I have some body issues and some weight loss obsession, but for the most part, I'm not self-loathing. I try to appreciate my body for the amazing things it can do. I can walk, run, give birth, nurse babies... etc. I don't hate myself or my body, but I'm not satisfied with it either. I really do appreciate your encouraging, positive comments! I will def check out your website! Thanks again!
